MycoGlow – Daily Moisturizer with Reishi + Tremella

If a serum is a whisper and a toner is a breath, then a moisturizer is the embrace that holds everything close. MycoGlow was created as that daily embrace — a lightweight yet deeply nourishing cream that seals in hydration, supports resilience, and leaves skin radiant without heaviness.

But more than that, it is proof that skincare can be intentional, alive, and made with love — not watered down and mass-produced.

Why Moisturizer Matters

Moisturizers are the quiet workers of skincare. They don’t shimmer in the bottle or make bold promises like some serums do, but they are the ones that keep hydration where it belongs. Without a moisturizer, water simply evaporates from the skin, leaving it vulnerable to dryness, stress, and damage.

Most moisturizers on the market are built on a base of plain water — an empty filler that does nothing but take up space. Gypsy Soul begins differently. The foundation of MycoGlow is rose hydrosol and aloe vera juice. Even the base is active. Even the base is alive with intention.

This is what sets Gypsy Soul apart. Every ingredient earns its place. There is no fluff. No “just because.”

The Power of Mushrooms

At the heart of MycoGlow are two adaptogens drawn from the forest:

  • Tremella (Snow Mushroom): sometimes called nature’s hyaluronic acid, Tremella holds up to 500 times its weight in water. It creates a soft, flexible veil on the skin that delivers hydration and slows water loss. Where many creams rely on synthetic polymers for this effect, Tremella offers it naturally, with a history of use in traditional medicine and beauty rituals that stretch back centuries.

  • Reishi (Lingzhi): the mushroom of longevity, revered for over 2,000 years. Rich in antioxidants and beta-glucans, Reishi calms irritation, strengthens the skin barrier, and shields the complexion from environmental stressors. Where high-end brands throw trendy words on labels, Reishi is the real thing — a medicine of resilience that has stood the test of time.

Together, they make MycoGlow not just another moisturizer, but a daily ritual of mushroom medicine for the skin.

Supporting Ingredients (Chosen with Care)

Every part of MycoGlow was chosen with thought and purpose. Nothing was added to look fancy on a label. Nothing was added to cut costs.

  • Rose Hydrosol: soothes, balances, and infuses the cream with a subtle floral calm.

  • Aloe Vera Juice: cools, quenches, and adds deep hydration.

  • Dual Hyaluronic Acid: two molecular weights that layer hydration — plumping the surface while replenishing deeper layers.

  • Meadowfoam, Walnut & MCT Oils: feather-light oils that soften and nourish without heaviness or greasiness.

  • Silk Amino Acids: give the finish its smooth, glide-like touch, leaving skin velvety without residue.

  • Caffeine Extract: brightens and wakes up the complexion, a gentle nod to the way we start our mornings.

  • Vitamin E: an antioxidant shield, protecting both the skin and the integrity of the formula.

Even the emulsifier, Ritamulse SCG, was chosen for its clean profile and eco-certification. And yes, it’s preserved — because water-based products without preservatives invite mold and bacteria. I use Liquid Germall Plus, a paraben-free, formaldehyde-free preservative, to keep this formula safe and stable. Transparency is part of integrity.

Why Small-Batch Matters

You could buy a moisturizer in a glossy jar at a luxury counter and pay twice the price. But peel back the layers and you’ll find water, silicones, cheap fillers, and ingredients chosen for texture, not nourishment.

MycoGlow is different. Every batch is made by hand, in small amounts, with ingredients I chose not because they are trendy, but because they work. Because they are kind. Because they serve the skin in a way that honors both science and tradition.

This is why Gypsy Soul stands against the high-end market. Where they choose marketing, I choose plants. Where they choose shortcuts, I choose intention. Where they choose profit, I choose care.

Daily Ritual

After cleansing and toner (and serum, if you use one), smooth a small amount of MycoGlow onto your face and neck. It absorbs quickly, leaving skin soft and luminous, never greasy.

For daytime, always follow with sunscreen to protect the hydration and nourishment you’ve layered in.

Use morning and evening, year-round, as the steady companion to your ritual.

What is a Hydrosol?

Most moisturizers begin with plain water. Water is neutral — it fills space, but it offers nothing of its own.

A hydrosol is different. It is the aromatic water that remains after steam distillation of a plant. As petals, leaves, or bark meet heat and vapor, the plant releases not only its scent but its water-soluble compounds: gentle acids, trace oils, antioxidants, and plant sugars. When that steam cools and condenses, what you hold is hydrosol — often called the soul of the plant.

Hydrosols are softer than essential oils and more nourishing than water. They bring their own chemistry: soothing, balancing, lightly hydrating, and kind even to sensitive skin.

By building MycoGlow on rose hydrosol, I chose to make even the foundation of this cream intentional. Instead of emptiness, the base carries calm. Instead of filler, it carries care.

This is why Gypsy Soul formulas feel different. Because I believe the base should matter as much as the actives layered on top.

Meet MycoGlow – Daily Moisturizer with Reishi + Tremella, and experience a daily ritual that proves small-batch care can outshine the high-end aisle.
